Hello and thanks for being here! 

A lifelong musician, I began leading classes of music and movement in 2018 with Chris Dorman at Music for Sprouts as an opportunity to have a “day job”.

I never expected that playing music with kids would become one of the profound musical experiences of my life.

The joy. The learning. The presence. The silliness! Learning with Mister Chris in the Music for Sprouts classroom at Bread & Butter Farm laid the foundation for my work with kids, and continues to inspire and inform my work with young kids. 

Music For Sprouts original music and programming has always been rooted in exploring movement, improvisation, and the seasons, in a safe space for kiddos to explore their creativity, and connect with one another. 

Since the Music for Sprouts classroom closed in 2020 I’ve led weekly online sessions through 2020, monthly sessions and special events at local libraries throughout Vermont, and led classes as part of the GROW Prenatal & Family Center, where young families can find opportunities for connection at yoga classes.

I currently host weekly class series at Marigold Gallery in Burlington’s South End for kiddos and caregivers. We will be back in the gallery in for our Fall 2025 Session, with enrollment beginning in late August.

As a mom to a toddler I deeply value creating a welcoming and safe space for both kids and caregivers to grow and learn.

Performing with my ukulele you can expect inspired renditions of classic kids songs, original music, tunes from Mister Chris & the Music for Sprouts classroom, along with scarf play, sing alongs, and what will surely be an epic jam session! My songwriting and performance is rooted in noticing the natural world, and ourselves. And I strive to create a welcoming space for kids to explore creativity, imaginative play, and connect with live music!

My hope is that I can create a moment for all of us present to slow down, and experience the joy of being a child.
