Small group classes are for kiddos and caregivers, and are session based. Our weekly classes are 45 minutes and we’ll explore rhythm and movement through scarf play, call and response songs, instruments, and other activities. Classes follow the same routine each week, and the songs change with the seasonal ebb and flow.
In class we celebrate the changing of the seasons, notice our joyful everyday moments, and it’s all a little silly! We play classic kids tunes, special requests, my original music, and songs from the Music for Sprouts classroom.
I strive to create a welcoming and safe space for kiddos and caregivers to connect with one another while exploring creativity, imaginative play, and connecting with live music!
I’ve been leading sessions of music and movement for young children and their caregivers since 2018. She got her start with Vermont’s Mister Chris (Chris Dorman) in the Music for Sprouts at Bread & Butter Farm which closed in 2020. After having a daughter, I returned to leading classes at GROW Prenatal & Family Center in Burlington for one season. I’m so glad to have found Marigold Gallery, and to be leading classes again. I hope you’ll join me for the upcoming season!
